Cré Tonnerre

synopsis : Forty years ago, everything changed: a massive wave transformed the lives of people, destroying everything in its path. Madmen and clairvoyants had forecast the disaster, but no one listened. Cré Tonnerre, a gang of four freshwater pirate friends, live on a little island hidden in the mangrove. Meet Mousse, the young and rowdy comedian that is a little vulgar; Pirate, the dark but bald man accompanied by his money that is endlessly building a boat; Viking, the wild man cut from raw oak that speaks Fluish, an incomprehensible language; and lastly Flibu, the angry anarchist that talks in Alexandrians.  They were born after the flood and spend their time drinking beer and smuggling.

Until the day Mousse disappears and forces the others to leave their little corner of paradise…

project for an animated series being developed with Digital Graphics. Animation by Palix. Music and characters by the Crétonnerre group.

Stories of women, women with stories

A documentary project by Milena Bochet

Synopsis: Having described a Romany child (Gejza) and an old storyteller - TV repairer (Vozar), I would now like to focus on women. Four women from different generations will speak. The girl to be married, the mother, the wife, the sorceress - all these facets will help us tackle the theme of love as well as more taboo subjects such as sterilisation, divorce and prostitution. The surreal will be superimposed on the experiences of each of the women, with the surreal and the real being closely linked in Romany culture. Life experiences will blend with the imagination and the real women will rub shoulders with spirits and creatures with feminine names: Mulés (the dead), Gulidai, Mamuna and Nora will appear. These are attractive yet all devouring women, women in love but also vampires.

Planet In Question
“Planet in question” is a series of four free-standing documentaries filmed worldwide.

We are primarily seeking to help people better understand the reality of the developing world without any taboos or simplism, particularly focusing on what players in the South have to say, their understanding of the situations that they are experiencing and their efforts to improve them.

We are aiming to help people to understand how the countries in the North and South are interdependent, to show that what happens in the South has an impact here in the North. We want to arouse a feeling among viewers that we are increasingly “one world” which is profoundly linked and interdependent, by using specific examples. Our destinies are overlapping. We have a common future.
